2025 IGOA Certification Exam
✨Dear Friends Who Love Classical Guitar and Ukulele✨
Following the successful conclusion of the very first certification exam, we have gathered a lot of valuable feedback and suggestions from participants.
The overall response was very positive. Therefore, we are excited to announce that IGOA will hold two certification exams in Taiwan during 2025 — one in the first half of the year and another in the second half — for both classical guitar and ukulele, giving participants more time to prepare.
The certification exams will again be hosted in collaboration with MICO Music Arts Academy, the only institution in Taiwan specializing in classical guitar education. Combining over 50 years of experience from the International Guitar Orchestra Association, we hope this partnership will bring new inspiration to Taiwan’s classical guitar community and music lovers alike.
🎵 About the IGOA Certification
The International Guitar Orchestra Association (IGOA) has been established for over 55 years and has held numerous large-scale seminars and events across Japan. This certification exam is officially recognized by IGOA, and successful candidates will be awarded a qualification certificate from the Association — a milestone on your musical journey.

International-Level Certification: Successful candidates will receive an official certificate.

Professional Judging Panel: Comprised of IGOA instructors from Taiwan and Japan, along with classical guitar performers from Taiwan.

Enhance Learning: Benefit from professional feedback and observe other participants’ performances to boost skills and confidence.

Academic Credit: The certification has been approved by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and can be included in senior high school learning portfolios.
