【I. Important Information for Participants】

1. Contact & Transportation

Venue: Feng 23 (No. 23, Sec. 1, Meichuan West Rd., West District, Taichung City)

Nearby Parking:
There are two parking lots nearby: City Parking and Dodo Parking, located in the direction of Yingcai Road on Meichuan West Rd. It takes approximately 5–8 minutes on foot from these lots to the venue.

 


 

2. Check-In Instructions

Please sign next to your name on the check-in sheet at the reception desk and present your admission ticket to complete the registration process.

♦♦♦ All participants must strictly follow the official examination schedule and procedure announced by the Association. ♦♦♦

  • Late arrivals will be moved to the next available group; no objections will be accepted.

  • Missing the final check-in time for your instrument will result in disqualification from this examination, without exception.

  • After check-in, staff will guide participants to the designated waiting area.

 


 

3. Examination Rules

  • Performance timing starts the moment the participant steps onto the stage.

  • The organizer will conduct photography and video recording during the event. All media rights belong to the organizer.

  • To ensure a focused environment for performers, audience admission is not permitted—this includes parents, teachers, and the general public. Please wait in the second-floor lounge.

  • The venue will provide standard performance chairs, music stands, and footstools. Participants may also bring their own equipment.

  • Classical guitar examinees must perform scales/arpeggios first, followed by the designated piece.

  • Ukulele examinees must bring their own sheet music; it will not be provided by the Association.

 


 

4. Certificate & Results Collection

Each participant will receive a complete examination folder, which includes:

  • One beautifully designed certificate

  • One evaluation sheet

  • A USB drive containing a photo taken during the exam

  • From June 26, 2024, participants can check the pass list on the official IGOA website.

  • From July 17 to August 18, 2024, participants may collect their certificate and evaluation sheet from the co-organizer:
    MICO Guitar Music Academy.

  • Those who selected postal delivery during registration will receive their documents within 6–8 weeks after the event.

 

Note:
Participants who miss the pick-up deadline must reapply through the Association and pay a handling fee of NT$200.
